Division and long division

In second grade, children start with simple division problems, with the divisor and quotient being smaller than 10. Long division is introduced in third grade, with the divisor of the number being a single digit. In fourth grade, long division is expanded upon, with the divisor of the number being two or three digits, and with possible remainders. Long division is repeated in fifth and sixth grade.

The website was developed to help elementary school students learn arithmetic. By offering clear math problems, numeracy can be practiced both in class and at home. Parents and children can practice together, for instance.

The exercises have been divided per grade and per arithmetic skill. Through a variety of exercises you can practice elementary school division skills, which you also learn in third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade.
